Our mission is to make comprehensive API monitoring and analytics accessible to every development team through a solution that just works, is fun to use, and takes data privacy seriously.

Hi, I'm Simon Gurcke, a software engineer from Germany, now living in Australia. I started building Apitally in 2022 to scratch my own itch after experiencing firsthand the challenges of monitoring healthcare APIs, where data privacy was paramount.

Today, Apitally is a sustainable business that serves developers and product owners worldwide. I continue to actively develop the tool, regularly adding new features and making improvements based on user feedback. I also use Apitally myself to monitor my own APIs.

As an independent solo founder, I'm committed to building Apitally for the long run, focusing on quality, user experience, and maintaining the core principles of simplicity and data privacy. I have no plans to raise venture capital.
